This green senior living community scheme was developed by Fermín while he worked at Anderson Bell + Christie in Glasgow and was completed in 2010. Fermín acted as the lead designer and project leader which means he oversaw the project from inception to completion; including dealing with a very long and delicate planning application. The proposals where developed with the notion of independent green living for the elderly. Developed as a social hosting scheme, the proposals included solar thermal panels, high levels of insulation, shared boilers, rain-water harvesting, edible gardens and green roofs over the individual porches.
