Pittenweem Library

This project involved developing designs to renovate Pittenweem’s Library which was being marked for closure by Fife Council. We worked together with Pittenweem’s Community Trust which was set up by members of the community with the aim to help save the Library from closure. The library has now re-opened as Pittenweem Community Library & Information Centre and will be managed by the local residents. The Library is located in the basement of the old Town Hall in Pittenweem’s historic village centre and forms part of ‘The Priory’ complex of buildings – Pittenweem’s oldest group of buildings.
