Meet Our Team
FermĂn Beltrán Dos Santos - Founding Partner / Architect
FermĂn grew up in Lima, Peru and studied architecture in Texas, USA. Working in New York, Lima and Glasgow, Scotland, he went on to found Fife Architects in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife with Lucy Beltrán in 2011.
FermĂn is a passionate architect, now delivering personal projects in and around Fife.
His work has recently been published in Scottish Field, Homebuilding & Renovating and Build It magazines - we are very proud of him!

Okay, Blenheim Palace, I see you đź‘€ Vanbrugh definitely wasn`t playing around with this masterpiece. The detail, and opulence of each space is really incredible. And the British Icons of Fashion exhibit? As mind-blowing as the architecture. Perfectly designed exhibits for each room. Definitely worth a visit!

Brilliant use of Siberian larch cladding on this beautiful house extension in Upper Largo, Fife - by Fife Architects. We also used SIPs within the structure due to it being a stronger, more sustainability and faster construct compared to other traditional build methods.

It is the season for sowing wild flowers, which reminds us of this green roof timber extension and house renovation in Elie. We designed the extension with an extensive green roof, planted with a mix of sedum and wildflowers to benefit the site by restricting surface water run-off, enhancing the site’s biodiversity and providing insulation via the planting medium’s thermal mass. We really love the wildflower garden providing a visually beautiful, low maintenance, wildlife friendly environment.
